Studio manager

IDK is looking for a studio manager to join its practice in London.

This would be a varied and busy role for a person who is proactive, energetic, creative and keen to be part of a small studio culture. We are looking for a positive and motivated individual, one who can help us advance our existing management systems and develop and implement new ones.

The role would evolve with the changing needs of our growing practice but would include the following basic responsibilities and duties:

  • financial systems management – fee billing, invoicing, expense management, cashflow updates, Xero management
  • marketing and business development – creating, updating marketing material and office portfolios, management of social media accounts, review of tender opportunities with partners, coordinating the creation of bid documents, coordinating tender submissions and preparing fee proposals
  • human resources support – recruitment, onboarding new starters, professional reviews, payroll management, pensions, policy management and implementation

Particulars of the role including salary, and employment terms would vary based on circumstance and arrangement. IDK supports flexible and remote working however there would be an expectation for a minimum presence in the studio one day a week.
