Junior FF&E designer

Studio Noam are seeking a junior interior designer to join our creative team in London.
Primarily working on high-end residential and yachting projects, this person will provide a supporting role to our senior designers.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has recently graduated from design school and can demonstrate their aesthetic and technical ability with layout/sample boards and technical drawings.
You will be working on a range of projects at any one time, so it is important you can multitask. Strong design knowledge is essential as are strong presentation and communications skills.
This is a full-time position and responsibilities will include:
- assisting and taking direction from the senior design team in scheming, sampling and sourcing
- helping to create presentations to clients
- managing the FF&E elements from conception through to procurement and, ultimately, installation
- liaising with suppliers, contractors and consultants as needed
- building relationships with key suppliers
The ideal candidate will:
- show a great passion for interior design
- be meticulous, highly organised and efficient
- be enthusiastic and have a strong work ethic
- be capable of clear communication; fluent in English, both written and verbal
- have a high level of proficiency in CAD, Photoshop, InDesign and have knowledge of SketchUp
- have an understanding of technical plans, elevations and sections
- demonstrate confidence in sketching and presenting new ideas
- be self-motivated and able to work as part of a team
- be detail oriented, with good negotiation skills
- be able to start as soon as possible
