Remote working, UK
Group marketing manager
at Charcoalblue
Charcoalblue has a vacancy for a group marketing manager to join its team remotely in the UK.
Charcoalblue is the world’s leading multi-national theatre, acoustic, and digital consultancy. We provide guidance and design for a broad range of buildings and events, including theatre, live performance, music, culture, education, workplaces, entertainment, and sport. We engage with all members of a project team – the clients, architects, engineers, cost consultant, and contractors – on how the design choices they make affect the functionality of the building.
We are looking to employ an experienced, driven and creative Group Marketing Manager, based in either the UK or North America working as part of our distributed team, supporting our global theatre consultancy and acoustics on all marketing activities. We are advertising this role in both locations and will run interviews concurrently to assess talent and suitability.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with an interest in being intrinsically involved in championing the design and delivery of our exciting construction projects within the performing arts, events or experiential spaces. You will manage a wide range of marketing projects and will be required to use your own initiative and to be self-motivated. This role requires demonstrable experience in a similar role, though training in the role and responsibilities will be provided. As this is a new role there is opportunity to develop this role in line with your own aspirations assuming they align with our business needs. You will line manage our regional team members in the UK and US and be supported by them day-to-day as you deliver on our longer-term marketing strategy and initiatives.
A good understanding of the architecture, construction and live performance or events is desirable, along with proven experience in business development, marketing or a related relevant area of work. You should be able to demonstrate experience in using design software such as InDesign or Photoshop, and some experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system would be advantageous. You should have a high level of IT literacy in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat, and be well acquainted with all leading social media platforms
As we work in a distributed model, the role may be undertaken from home with only occasional attendance in the studio and at project/client or site meetings as required.
Charcoalblue is an equal opportunities employer. We strive to create a diverse and inclusive working environment across our practice, and we work consistently to ensure elimination of unfair and discriminatory practices within the Company. Recruitment opportunities are open to all, but we particularly encourage applications from women, members of minority groups, people with disabilities, and anyone who doesn’t currently see themselves significantly represented in our teams.
