Bert Frank is hiring a sales and showroom assistant to join its team in London.

Bert Frank are recruiting for a talented individual to join our London team as showroom and sales assistant. Supporting our sales and business managers to achieve business growth and expansion goals, the individual will be working closely with several departments and aspects of the company on a daily basis.

The role is a permanent, full time position at 40 hours per week (09:00–17:30 weekdays only), based at our Farringdon showroom location.

The role:

• the warm and welcoming point of call for all initial client queries via email, phone and in-person
• ensuring the best possible client experience by using all available resources and following up timely
• maximise sales through excellent customer service, product knowledge and display presentation
• ensuring the showroom is always well presented for client visits
• organising weekly deliveries of local client orders and showroom supplies
• operating an efficient sampling service
• assisting with the planning and execution of showroom trade and launch events
• supporting the sales team in developing new and efficient company processes
• occasional logistics support, using our FedEx shipping account and generating shipping labels
• growth to incorporate sales responsibilities such as building B2B relationships in specific regions
• reporting to the head of sales, working alongside all London-based departments daily

The ideal candidate will be/have:

• enthusiastic, energetic, and personable professional manner
• previous experience in industry/interest in design and working in a small team
• well organised with keen attention to detail
• excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluency in multiple languages a bonus
• experience and knowledge of ERP systems, especially Brightpearl
• great customer service skills with a can-do attitude
• confident experience in Microsoft suite and using Apple products daily
• ability to work within a fast-paced environment often with competing priorities and not afraid of change
