Studio and communications manager

Fraser Brown MacKenna Architects is hiring a studio and communications manager to join its team in London.
Fraser Brown MacKenna Architects is a successful award-winning architectural practice of around 30 people, working across the residential, education and commercial sectors on a range and scale of projects.
We are seeking a studio manager to oversee and take responsibility for all studio support functions, assisted by an administrator and part-time IT manager. Reporting to the board of directors, this crucial and wide-ranging role would be suited to a proven multi-tasker with a focus on driving business and service development.
Key responsibilities will include:
- identifying potential new business opportunities and capitalising on these
- manage our engagement on all social media (Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter), website and newsletters
- bid co-ordination, assisting with bid writing and awards applications
- supporting and driving quality improvements with innovative approaches to knowledge management to help us maximise the talents of our creative team
- involved with office and financial management (supported by an Administrator and p/t IT manager) including fee invoicing, financial planning, practice policies
Candidates should possess:
- an interest in architecture and design. Prior experience in a similar role preferred
- sproven multi-tasker with an eye for detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
- an eye for developing trends and a passion for innovation
- excellent written and verbal communications skills
- excellent graphic eye and a talent for visual presentation, PR and communications
- demonstrable skill in the use of MS Office and Adobe InDesign. Experience in the use of Quickbooks/accounting packages desirable.
We are looking for either a full time or part time candidate to cover all, or areas within the roles and responsibilities, depending on experience and skillset. The role will be predominately based at our offices close to Old Street station, London.
