Part 1 architectural assistant

Torner Architects is hiring a Part 1 graduate to join its practice in London.
We are looking for a talented Part 1 architectural assistant to become an integral member of our studio. We are working on a broad range of exciting projects across all scales.
Responsible for providing close support to the company, you will work alongside the company director and assist in the preparation of tender documentation, building control applications and planning drawings.
The candidate will ideally have previous office experience and proficiency Vectorworks, Microsoft Office, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite. You will be required to work to deadlines and be a confident communicator.
Key requirements include:
- a rigorous approach to design
- excellent visual and graphic presentation skills
- well-organised and able to take initiative
- a clear and articulate communicator (spoken and written)
- excellent 2D drafting, illustrating and rendering skills
- based in London (in-person studio working, subject to national COVID governmental guidance)
