Marketing and business development assistant

Haptic Architects is hiring a marketing and business development assistant to join its team in London.

We are looking for a positive and energetic marketing and business development assistant who is passionate about design, architecture and the built environment and excited about communicating Haptic’s work to a diverse and international audience. The ideal person will have great aesthetic judgement that is in keeping with the studio’s brand and ethos, as well as having excellent organisation, communication and interpersonal skills.
The role is initially offered as a short-term, full-time contract of three months with the prospect of becoming a full-time permanent position for the right individual.
The short term duties in the contract period of this position will include:
- implementing our transition to Open Asset
- implementing our transition to a new website
The longer term duties of this position may include:
- maintaining this resource, including content production
- maintaining our new website in line with agreed protocols
- assisting the head of marketing and head of business development to develop general and specific material to support the marketing and acquisitions strategy as well as hands on, day to day assistance with bids and marketing activities.
We are looking for candidates with demonstrable skills and experience as described below:
- design discipline graduate, ideally with experience in marketing/PR/communications
- self-motivated and enthusiastic with personal drive and positive energy
- organised and able to hit deadlines
- excellent listening, written, verbal, and graphic communication skills;
- enjoys working as part of an international internal creative team as well as external collaborators;
- experienced Adobe CC (particularly Photoshop and inDesign) and MS Office user
- knowledge of Open Asset is a benefit
- knowledge of WordPress is a benefit
- excellent grasp of and enthusiasm for social media
- fluency in written and spoken English is essential and fluency in a Scandinavian language, particularly Norwegian, is a benefit
