Durukan Design is hiring a senior architectural designer to join its team in New York.
Dynamic, multi-residential focused interior design firm based in Dumbo, Brooklyn. Seeking an outgoing, proactive, and reliable senior architectural designer with five years’ of experience in the multi-family residential field.
Responsibilities will include managing a small group, construction drawings, redlining, compiling and issuing CD sets, construction administration, internal and external coordination, and communication with designers, contractors, clients et al.
Requirements:
- interior design/architecture degree from an accredited university
- minimum five years’ work experience in the multi-unit residential field
- proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office PowerPoint
- expertise in technical details, ADA requirements and millwork drawings
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- ability to work independently, meet deadlines and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
