Purpose of the position
You will provide leadership in the planning and execution of interior design projects and bi-annual photoshoots by:
- meeting with and taking a brief from the creative director, ensuring her vision for each project is communicated clearly to the wider team
- providing the wider team with a detailed and dynamic critical path for each project, ensuring everyone understands their responsibilities and deadlines
- coach, lead and manage interior design coordinator
- taking responsibility for all practical elements of our projects, from ordering product to liaising with suppliers, including carriers, specialist installers, curtain makers, upholsters etc.
- managing site deadlines and budgets
Duties and responsibilities
Travel will be required to North America and as required to photoshoot locations and suppliers.
Qualifications for the position:
- at least five years’ experience in a project manager/mid level interior designer position, ideally in a well-established interiors practice. You may also come from a visual merchandising/product/retail/auction house background
- CAD literate
- Excel/Gantt skills
- estimate knowledge desirable
- knowledge of antiques (purchase and sale) would be beneficial
- product experience would be beneficial e.g. merchandising, e-commerce, product development
