Clifton Interiors has a vacancy for a project architect/interior designer to join its team in London.
We are seeking a project architect/interior designer with at least five years’ experience in high-end residential interior design to join our team at Clifton Interiors in Primrose Hill, London.
At Clifton we offer our clients a personal and comprehensive design service incorporating all aspects of interior design and architecture. The position is well-suited for an architectural designer who is passionate about working in the interiors sphere. You will be confident and comfortable managing projects; as well as working efficiently within our processes and collaboratively with the senior design team.
Key responsibilities:
- develop concepts and ideas, and to present these to the client
- preparation of accurate drawings for tender and for contractors
- completion of accurate and detailed specification and costing documentation
- submitting basic planning applications
- working as part of a team to successfully delivers projects from concept to completion
Knowledge and experience:
- minimum RIBA Part 2 or equivalent and at least five years of work experience
- show a high level of technical ability with experience of detailed drawings packages (AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp), schedules and specifications
- experience in spatial planning and concept development, as well as lighting design
- thorough knowledge of joinery and construction detailing especially regarding the specification of products for high-end residential
- experienced in liaising with contractors and consultants
- demonstrate excellent time-management skills and manage their own time across a number of projects concurrently
