Assistant architect/assistant landscape architect

Gustafson Porter + Bowman is seeking an assistant architect/assistant landscape architect to join its team in London.
Gustafson Porter + Bowman is looking for a design-led assistant architect or assistant landscape architect with experience in Rhino and/or Revit, and up to four years’ post-graduate experience to join our friendly, hard-working, and collaborative team.
We are an award-winning leading landscape architecture practice which has received public acclaim for creating engaging and beautiful spaces around the world.
Assistants at our practice assist in performing landscape architect duties from inception to completion, with the support and guidance of their senior colleagues. They contribute to design development, as well as assisting with the co-ordination of information within the practice and with external consultants.
Applicants should have the following skills and experience:
- degree in landscape architecture (BA plus post-grad diploma or MA)/architecture (with experience in landscape architecture)
- up to four years’ professional experience
- ability to undertake assistant duties to a high standard and client expectations
- ability to manage own workload, and confidence to seek help from others when required
- ability to check and correct own work before passing on to seniors as completed and for their review
- ability to use landscape related software and corporate software applications to a very high standard including AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and with proven experience in Rhino and/or Revit
- grasshopper knowledge an advantage.
- good English language skills, both written and spoken
- good professional written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work as part of a project team contributing creative solutions and taking direction from partners, associates, senior landscape architects or landscape architects
