NAME architecture is hiring an interior designer in Paris, France.

We are seeking an experienced architect/interior designer to join our team who can effectively lead and coordinate a team to deliver high-quality interior design projects. The ideal candidate should have exceptional creativity, technical expertise, a good market knowledge of materials and FF&E and the ability to manage and inspire a team of designers.

Responsibilities:

• lead and coordinate a team of designers to deliver a high-end interior design project within specified timelines and budgets
• develop project plans, timelines and schedules in collaboration with clients and team members
• manage projects, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and that expenses are within the approved limits
• develop and present design concepts to clients and ensure that they meet their requirements and expectations
• create detailed project documentation, including specifications, drawings and material samples
• oversee the procurement of material samples, furnishings and fixtures, ensuring that they meet project requirements and specifications
• maintain accurate project records and reports, including financial and project status reports
• participate in cost control and value engineering activities throughout the design process and participate in all value engineering workshops

Qualifications:

• bachelor’s degree in interior design or a related field
• at least five years of experience in interior design, including project management and team coordination
• proficiency in using Revit, AutoCAD and Rhino is required for this position
• other design software will be considered an added bonus
• excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
• strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• ability to work independently and as part of a team
• flexibility and adaptability to changing project needs and requirements
• good written and verbal communication skills in English are required for this position. The ideal candidate should have experience working in an English-speaking environment and delivering projects to clients in English and have legal authorisations to work in France
