Whitespace Architects is hiring a BIM, AI and parametric design lead to join its team in Dubai, UAE.
As the BIM, AI and parametric design lead, your role will be pivotal in transforming our business and technological capabilities. You will be responsible for supporting innovation and applying your extensive knowledge of modern technology to influence and innovate solutions that have a direct impact on our business and greatly contribute to more efficient project deliveries. You will play a crucial part in leading the integration of Building Information Modelling (BIM), Artificial Intelligence (AI) and parametric design methodologies into our workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
- lead the development and implementation of BIM, AI and parametric design strategies across the organisation
- collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improving project delivery and efficiency through BIM, AI and parametric design
- provide technical expertise and guidance on best practices for BIM, AI and parametric design methodologies and tools
- act as a subject matter expert on BIM, AI and parametric design and promote their adoption throughout the organisation
- conduct training and workshops to educate employees on the benefits and effective use of BIM, AI and parametric design tools
- stay up to date with the latest advancements and trends in BIM, AI and parametric design technologies and recommend their implementation when appropriate
- collaborate with external partners and vendors to explore new technologies and solutions that can enhance our capabilities
- analyse data and provide insights on how BIM, AI and parametric design can optimise project delivery, cost and quality
- lead and manage a team of professionals working on BIM, AI and parametric design projects
Qualifications and skills:
- bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture, engineering, computer science or related field
- proven experience working with BIM, AI and parametric design methodologies and tools
- strong knowledge of software such as Revit, Rhino, Grasshopper, Dynamo and similar platforms
- solid understanding of project lifecycle and construction processes
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
- strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail
- ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
