About the role
This role would suit a dynamic designer who enjoys being exposed to the full design process or who is passionate about FF&E and developing design narratives. You would be joining a small team and working at pace on creative international restaurant and bar projects from start to finish. Ideas and input will be expected and welcomed. With numerous exciting projects extending across the hospitality sector, this is a brilliant opportunity to join a blossoming team where you would have the chance to be very hands on. This would suit a self-motivated team player with a positive, communicative and collaborative approach, who is looking to develop their skills.

Responsibilities:
- working on multiple F&B projects in the UK and abroad
- developing strong concepts that have clear core ideas and rationale
- developing narratives and storytelling moments that engage people
- creating palettes and sourcing materials for design projects
- creating layouts and spatial design that develop the concept and focus on the guest experience
- producing FF&E specifications, complete with technical requirements
- undertaking small design related tasks to support the wider team
- gathering information for project budgets
- onsite meetings and virtual meetings
- liaising with suppliers, consultants and contractors when required
- reporting into mid-weight and senior designers
- may be required to develop joinery details and to produce detail design drawings with assistance from senior designers
Required skill and experience:
- two to three years’ experience working on restaurant, hospitality and/or retail projects
- organised and efficient and used to working to deadlines
- excellent presentation skills and interpersonal skills
- autonomous and self-motivated
- confident in generating concept ideas, narratives and developing mood imagery under direction of the senior members of the team
- an all-round designer or a concept designer who has experience of working on projects in the industry
- creativity, flair and passion for great quality interior design including materials, furniture and accessories
- able to share your passion for design and inspire others
- fast learner with a desire for continuous development
- highly collaborative and adaptable, keen to work as part of a team
- must be proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop and SketchUp
- must be proficient in Microsoft applications and producing client presentations
- Bachelor’s degree in interior design, theatre design, interior architecture or similar from an accredited school
- proof of right to work in the UK
