Neil Choudhury Architects is hiring a Part 2 architectural assistant to join its team in Brighton, UK.
Neil Choudhury Architects (NCA) requires a Part 2 to join our friendly, design-led practice located in Brighton’s vibrant North Laine and a few minutes from the sea.
We are a small practice, so the role is varied and it is important that you are confident at all RIBA work stages and eager to run your own projects. The practice specialises in contemporary one-off houses, residential new build and refurbishment and some leisure projects on the south coast. You would be engaged on a variety of projects of varying scales and at different stages of design/construction. With several high design projects just commenced construction, the position is ideal for someone keen to progress their RIBA Part 3.
We work five days a week from our spacious studio.
The salary is commensurate with experience.
Candidates must like the office dog.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated architectural assistant with the following skills and experience:
- team player
- confident, outgoing
- UK work experience
- excellent written and spoken English
- a strong design portfolio
- superior drawing presentation skills
- detail-orientated
- technical drawing experience
- proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, V-Ray
- experience of 3D modelling
- must be eligible to work in the UK and start employment with immediate effect
