About the role

We are currently looking to add a HR coordinator to our supportive and welcoming HR team. This role will include responding to HR queries and managing day to day administration for the department and will be reporting to the head of people.

The ideal candidate:

  • experience in a similar HR role or within the built environment
  • able to communicate with people across all levels
  • self-motivated and able to prioritise activities
  • proactive and hands-on approach
  • eager to learn and develop skills
  • high level of attention to detail

Key responsibilities:

  • point of contact for day to day HR queries including HR databases (CMap, Factorial)
  • work with the training team to develop a training programme for all employees
  • assist with onboarding new starters, prepare offer letters and contracts, liaise with other departments and any other relevant documentation
  • assist with payroll, ensuring information is sent to relevant departments for inclusion each month, assisting with creating reports and working with finance team on queries
  • assist with employee data collection and surveys
  • work with head of people to help develop policies, benefits, employee engagement proposals and various projects within the department
  • liaise with existing contacts at charities and foundations to offer work experience opportunities to young people
  • coordinate training sessions  for all and management training
  • calculating and allocating annual leave for all employees
  • auditing all HR records annually and keeping all data up to date for use in reporting and analysis
