If you have a passion for architectural excellence and looking for a progressive career move to a practice where you can work on several exciting projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment – this may be the perfect role for you.

Based in the heart of Chichester, Smith Simmons and Partners is a multi-disciplinary practice of planning specialists and architects who collaboratively deliver inspiring projects.

We are looking for an enthusiastic architectural technologist to utilise their strong design and technical skills to support the in-house team that comprises a hands-on partner, skilled architects and technologists to deliver exceptional work on a wide range of residential, commercial, heritage and rural projects.

This integral new role will form the link between concept design and completed construction by producing an excellent standard of technical information. You will have a strong understanding of construction detailing, materials, and the preparation of comprehensive drawing packages to assist with the day-to-day coordination and delivery projects through RIBA stages 4-7.

We are highly ambitious and since we established, we have substantially and sustainably grown both locally and beyond, particularly in the residential and commercial sectors.  We have built an excellent reputation and are proud of our strong portfolio. We have predominately focused on creating inspiring traditional developments and are looking to expand our reach to include more sectors.  To support our continued success, we are also currently recruiting for two further additional roles within the architectural team. Strong interest and experience of working on rural, heritage, conservation and listed building projects is a distinct advantage.

This is a role with plenty of opportunity, in an environment where your input is valued and where there is plenty of scope for personal growth and development. You will be passionate about advancing your career within a dynamic, forward thinking and fast paced environment.

In order to apply, it is essential that you meet the following criteria:
