Dezeen is looking for a Dezeen Awards content manager to join its team in London.
Created by Dezeen, the world’s most popular and influential architecture and design magazine, Dezeen Awards is one of the biggest and most prestigious awards programmes in the architecture and design industry.
We are looking for an outstanding, proactive and highly motivated person to manage the awards programme and ensure the overall success of the department.
Reporting to our head of Dezeen Awards, your duties will include but not limited to:
- providing strategic support to the head of Dezeen Awards
- hiring, training and managing a team of assistants and interns
- creating and managing awards timelines
- producing and overseeing all marketing content across Dezeen’s channels (including editorial, social and newsletters)
- creating graphic identity materials, including banners and badges for judges, longlisting, shortlisting, public vote and winner moments
- driving award entries and managing the entries funnel
- managing the judging process and liaising with judges on longlisting and shortlisting activity
- onboarding and coordinating with external media partners
- analysing and evaluating performance data
- leading on data production for media agencies
The ideal candidate is well-organised and has a keen eye for detail. You should have strong analytical, communication and project management skills, and perform with flair and accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Strong writing skill is essential.
Experience in a project management, customer service and/or events organising role, along with client relationship management is desirable. A good knowledge of the architecture and design industry will be an advantage.
Candidates must have excellent communication skills and be proficient in written and spoken English.
The position is based in London, United Kingdom. However, we offer flexible and remote working opportunities to the team.
