Fusion Design and Architecture is hiring a middleweight interior designer to join its team in London.
About us
We’re a London-based interior design studio founded in 1998, specialising in hospitality projects in the UK and overseas. We’re a close-knit team of around 15 and known for our professional but personal approach. Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do; we build strong relationships with clients, suppliers and each other to deliver design that works and spaces that inspire.
The Role
We’re looking for a creative and technically minded middleweight interior designer with a love of hospitality design to support our team across multiple projects, from concept through to completion. Responsibilities include:
Concept and presentation: developing concepts, mood boards and 3D visuals for F&B spaces
Technical drawings: producing 2D drawing packages (plans, elevations, sections and joinery details) in Vectorworks
FF&E and sourcing: researching and sourcing furniture, fixtures and finishes, and liaising with suppliers
Project support: preparing schedules, specifications and presentation materials for client meetings
Site coordination: attending site visits and supplier meetings to support delivery and maintain design quality
About you
You’ll be confident, proactive and keen to learn, happy working independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment.
You’ll also have:
- a degree in interior design or interior architecture
- four plus years’ relevant industry experience
- full proficiency in Vectorworks and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop)
- asolid understanding of UK building regulations and drawing standards
- an ability to manage workload and meet internal and external deadlines
- a basic understanding of project programmes, costs and budget awareness
- good supplier and product knowledge, including FF&E and finishes
- impeccable and concise communication skills, both written and spoken
- strong graphic and presentation skills
- a team player who is adaptable and enthusiastic to develop their career in a well-respected studio
