Middleweight interior designer
at Divercity Architects

Divercity Architects is seeking a middleweight interior designer to join its London studio.

We are a design practice with an award-winning portfolio spanning hotels, housing developments, private residences, and commercial and public spaces, working in the UK and internationally. We are looking for an experienced, creative, and technically minded designer with a strong passion for hospitality design to support our team across several new, high-profile international projects.

The role

You will work across projects from initial concept through to on-site delivery, contributing to both the creative and technical stages of the design process. With guidance and support from senior team members, you will help develop designs, produce detailed documentation, and follow projects through all stages.

Responsibilities include:

  • concept and presentation: developing concepts, mood boards, and 3D visuals, particularly for F&B and hospitality spaces
  • technical drawings: producing 2D drawing packages including plans, elevations, sections, and joinery details
  • FF&E & sourcing: researching and specifying furniture, fixtures, and finishes, and liaising with suppliers
  • project support: preparing schedules, specifications, and presentation materials for client meetings

About you

You will be confident, proactive, and keen to develop your career, comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced studio environment.

You should have:

  • a degree in interior design or interior architecture
  • three plus years’ relevant industry experience
  • strong design sensibility and good construction detailing knowledge
  • full proficiency in AutoCAD and Rhino, with experience in Enscape or D5, Adobe Creative Suite or/ and Affinity
  • a basic understanding of project programmes, costs, and budget awareness
  • good supplier and product knowledge, particularly FF&E and finishes
  • clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal
  • strong graphic and presentation skills
  • a positive, adaptable attitude and enthusiasm for hospitality design
  • experience using AI tools to support design development and visualisation is a plus
