Assistant shop manager

Twentytwentyone is searching for an assistant shop manager for its Islington store in London.
Full-time, including some weekends.
Twentytwentyone has established itself as one of London’s foremost retailers of classic and contemporary design supplying furniture, lighting and accessories from world leading designers and manufacturers.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and motivated individual to assist the shop manager in leading and coaching a dedicated team advising our customers and growing sales at our store in Islington.
The ideal candidate will have:
- an enthusiasm for twentytwentyone and our products
- an intrinsic understanding of customer service
- experience leading and motivating a team
- strong initiative and problem-solving skills
- proven track record of sales excellence individually and within a team
- confidence in driving sales and meeting KPI’s
- performance management experience including employee personal development plans
- strong organisational and administrative skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- flexibility and keenness to carry out all aspects of the role
- a minimum of four years’ retail experience is required
- direct experience in design-led retail management is preferred
