William Matthews Associates is seeking a studio manager to join its practice in London.
William Matthews Associates is a creatively driven architecture studio established in 2013. Based in central London our international and tight-knit team of eight designers works across a diverse range of sectors in the UK and abroad.
Current projects include:
- a footbridge at Tintagel Castle in Cornwall
- a ski resort masterplan in Bulgaria
- a high-rise development in Morocco
- a feasibility study for Victoria Station
- a small hotel development in Bedfordshire
We are now looking for a studio manager to join us and take charge of the non-design elements of the practice.
Previous experience of working in architecture isn’t essential but an interest in design and the arts will be an advantage. You will, however, need to be organised, enthusiastic, proactive and willing to turn your hand to a wide variety of tasks. Applicants should be fluent in written and spoken English.
The precise scope isn’t defined at this stage but will include most of the traditional studio management tasks. The role can be flexible in terms of hours and skill; getting the right person is our most important requirement.
