Industrial furniture designer/3D CAD
Duffy London is currently seeking a talented designer/CAD draughtsman
to join its London design studio.
Duffy London is a design and manufacturing studio based in east
London, designing some of the worlds most cutting-edge concepts and
pieces within the furniture world.
Designs are ideas-based, combining art and function and playing with
the concepts of gravity, geometry and illusion.
Tasks and responsibilities
- development of designs from start to finish.
- producing 3D visuals and conceptual proposals for clients around the world
- creating technical drawings for manufacture
- overseeing projects and working closely with our in-house manufacturing team
- assist in the day to day running of the studio
Skills and experience
- professional degree in industrial/furniture design or any other
associated field - a minimum of two years post graduate experience in a similar role
- excellent knowledge of Rhino 3D is a must
- proven skills in Adobe Suite and 3D rendering -Keyshot, Corona, Vray
- making skills would be held in high regard
- good spoken and written communication skills in English. Other
languages are a plus

- ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure
