Architect/Part-II architectural assistant
Brian O’Reilly Architects is looking for an architect/Part-II architectural assistant to join its London practice.
Brian O’Reilly Architects are a small friendly RIBA chartered established practice in Camden.
We are looking for a talented technical Part-III architect or experienced Part-II with on-site practical experience in residential projects on a full-time basis to join our studio.
Candidates should have a good design understanding, be motivated and confident to work independently as well as to work in a small group. Good communication skills and willingness to take on responsibility and develop new skills, on-site practical experience and construction drawing experience is essential.
The successful applicant will have a central role in the practice and take on variety of roles.
Responsibilities:
- day to day delivery of various projects from conception to realisation
- communicate directly with clients
- liaise with local planning authorities and building control
- preparing working drawings, building regulations and specifications
- instructing and communicating with contractors
- contribute towards the development of the office
Requirements
- at least two years experience
- proficient AutoCAD
- working knowledge of Revit
- Photoshop, InDesign
- Microsoft office
