Whitepaper is seeking an interior designer to join its studio in Shoreditch, London.
Whitepaper is a young, vibrant design and build studio based in Shoreditch.
Following a highly successful year, an increase in workload has meant our design team is looking to grow, with lots of opportunities to develop quickly within a small team.
We are looking for a passionate individual, who’s ready to dive straight in and work on some of London’s most exciting and innovative commercial spaces.
The candidate must be a problem solver with a positive attitude, that has the ability to work independently from concept to completion. It’s important that this individual has a keen eye for design, an interest in latest trends and is always looking for new ways to bring design flare into commercial design.
Key responsibilities:
- confidently present concept designs to clients with passion and creativity
- developing and managing projects through to completion on site
- liasing with suppliers and contractor’s, working to quick timescales and budgets
- work collaboratively as a design time to create projects to a high creative standard
- work independently as well as mentoring junior designers, assisting with their development
Experience:
- minimum of two-three years’ preferably working in workplace design
- experience creating pitch documents and strong presentation skills
- experience working on projects from concept to completion
- experience producing detailed drawings packages, schedules and specifications
- strong product knowledge and a passion for new trends
Skills:
- strong AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite skills are essential
This is a full-time position. Immediate start preferred.
