London, UK
Storyboard/editor and video developer
at PLP Architecture
PLP Architecture is seeking a storyboard, editor and video developer to join its team in London.
PLP Architecture is seeking an individual with a background in film or storytelling to storyboard, edit and develop videos.
We are a London based group of architects, designers and thinkers who value the transformative role of ideas and the capacity for architecture to inspire.
PLP Architecture has created some of the world’s smartest buildings, which have redefined what it means to live and work in today’s cities. PLP Labs is a research collaborative that develops concepts and technologies aimed at the future development of cities and urban living.
We have recently completed the Edge, the greenest office building in the world. and Collective Old Oak, the largest co-living building to date. PLP is currently working on the tallest all-timber building in the world as well as researching a ground-breaking urban mobility system that fuses autonomous cars with mass-transit.
We are a non-hierarchical, collaborative, multi-disciplinary practice with the culture of a young start-up.
PLP Architecture seeks an ambitious, intellectually nimble candidate for a new role to storyboard, edit and develop video content for pitches and presentations, both for internal and external communications. This is an opportunity to weave storytelling into our communications to create ideas that engage every audience. Working with new and existing material, the candidate must be able to create outlines and narratives for strategic pitches with a high level of design in 2D and HTML formats. A filmmaker with a passion for the built environment is ideal, but we will consider other profiles.
Strong design sensibility and story-telling skills for physical/digital environments are essential. The successful candidate will work with a multi-disciplinary team to design campaigns in print, digital, motion graphics and videos.
This is a full-time position with benefits, based in our London office. An architectural background is helpful but not essential.
All candidates should be eligible to work in the UK.
