Senior project manager
at Charcoalblue
Charcoalblue is seeking a senior project manager to join its team in London.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join Charcoalblue’s London team based at our client’s offices in London. Due to COVID-19, this post will be remote-based until further notice.
Charcoalblue is widely regarded as the most exciting and innovative specialist theatre, live performance, events, and AV consultancy in the world. Since our foundation in the UK in 2004, Charcoalblue is now the largest organisation of its kind. We have studios in London, Bristol, Glasgow, New York, Chicago and Melbourne and a distributed workforce based across the UK, USA and Australia.
Charcoalblue@ is a dedicated managed service within Charcoalblue, offering project and design management to key clients. We have been appointed by a long-standing international client to provide specialist audio visual project management services for their events and experience spaces. This involves collaborating with the client’s designers, wider architectural project teams and AV integrators delivering world leading spaces.
This role will provide project management and leadership services for the successful delivery of audio-visual installations for both installed and loose equipment by third party vendors. The senior project manager will be responsible for the coordination of all performance AV related elements to integrate into the events and experience spaces and will take responsibility for some of the client’s largest and most significant projects.
The senior project manager will line manage the regional project managers and align project management strategies, processes and delivery models with the senior team across the global program providing strategic leadership, guidance and process enhancements for the service and act as a key point of contact for the client.
As we work in a distributed model, the role may be undertaken from home with only occasional attendance in our UK studios. When government guidelines allow, there will be the option to work from one of our studios if preferred. The successful candidate will be required to adopt a flexible working hours approach to collaborate efficiently with colleagues in other time zones as needed.
We are an equal opportunities employer. Our mission is to create a diverse and inclusive working environment across our practice. Recruitment opportunities are open to all, but we are particularly keen to hear from ethnically diverse and disabled candidates, as these groups are currently under-represented within our teams. If you require this application in a different format or need support during the application process, please contact Sian Thompson via email ([email protected]) or telephone (020 7928 0000).
Closing date for receiving applications: 6pm BST Monday 7 June 2021.
