Mid-weight interior designer

Miriam Frowein Interiors is looking for a mid-weight interior designer to join its studio in London.
Our practice specialises in high-end residential, working both locally and internationally. We’re a small group of interior designers.
The role and responsibilities:
- to lead numerous FF&E projects, with the assistance of more junior members of the team
- deliver a seamless service to our clients ensuring exceptional communication throughout
- to be the first point of contact for clients and client team as well as project managers and suppliers
- lead client meetings
- coordinate contractors, suppliers and services to ensure timely delivery of projects
- be able to respond effectively to complex questions, whilst working and switching between various projects
- preparing mood boards, fabric schemes and presentations
- sourcing furniture, antiques and art
- design of bespoke furniture including case pieces, upholstery and lighting
- develop detailed specifications and schedules
- budget creation and management
- coordinate the procurement of all FF&E items
Key skills the candidate shall have:
- three plus years’ post-qualification experience with proven previous experience of delivering high-end residential FF&E packages from concept through to completion
- an exceptional eye for detail, colour and knowledge of antiques
- highly organised and efficient
- proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office Suite and EstiMac
- comfortable and confident working with high profile figures exercising discretion
- excellent verbal and written communications are also essential, as you will be liaising between multiple parties, including clients, sub-contractors and architects
