OAOA Architecture Associates has an opportunity for interns to join its team in London.
OAOA is a young, award-winning London based multidisciplinary practice providing masterplanning, architecture, interior, and landscape design services.
We are looking for talented, highly motivated and enthusiastic Interns to assist on a variety of projects.
Your work will cover a variety of project types and stages and would offer a well-rounded and diverse experience.
Your work would typically include:
- participation in creative design proposals at multiple scales, types and stages
- preparing, developing and editing, drawings, models, images and other documents relating to the design with a variety of media
- assisting and coordinating with the design team to establish building type, style, cost, etc.
- coordinating with the wider design team and participating in Design reviews
- where appropriate monitor construction work in progress to ensure compliance with the design
Candidates should:
- have excellent creative design capabilities, demonstrated by a design portfolio
- be self driven and motivated to push the boundaries of contemporary design
- be proactive, work efficiently and collaboratively with the design team within an energetic environment to meet project demands
- have a flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working
- have the ability to use a variety of media and be proficient in 2D and 3D technical skills, the following software skills are beneficial: MicroStation (and/or AutoCAD), Rhino, 3D studio Max, Photoshop and In-Design
- legally able to work in the UK
