Job title: mid-weight/senior interior designer
Work: full-time, 37.5 hours a week.
Working hours: 8am to 6pm
Our ideal candidate would be/possess:
- three plus years’ experience as an mid weight interior designer in the high-end luxury residential market
- strong understanding of the full design process
- degree in interior design/interior architecture is essential
- independent and takes huge amount of independent initiative
- experience, energy and enthusiasm in project monitoring from concept to completion
- technical drawing skills
- create joinery drawing packages for design intent, client presentation and tender
- create detailed bathroom drawings, tile setting out and specification of all sanitaryware, cabinetry, brassware and accessories for construction
- computer literate: proficient in Microsoft Office with a strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign and Photoshop
- proficient in AutoCAD and EstiPC. Needs to be able to create CAD technical drawing packages of plans, elevations, sections, small power, lighting, RCP’s, floor and walls finishes
- sourcing and procurement of FF&E, dealing directly with suppliers
- high level scheme making
- confident in working on multiple projects simultaneously
- the ability to work to prescribed budgets
- capable of working in a pressured environment with the ability to work to deadlines
- strong communication skills, both written and verbal and presentable
Responsibilities:
- create joinery drawing packages, client presentation and tender
- create detailed bathroom drawings, tile setting out and specification of all sanitaryware, cabinetry, brassware and accessories for construction
- create detailed internal architectural drawings of features, bespoke installations and all other internal elements like staircases, ceiling coffers, wall panelling and alike for construction
- producing accurate schedules, for curtain and furniture manufacturers for example
- sourcing and specifying products and materials whilst being mindful of a set budget
- producing comprehensive and professional looking mood boards for presentations to clients
- responsibility for multiple projects from concept development through to installation and styling
- preparing detailed and accurate drawings, designs, plans and schemes
- sourcing, scheduling and specifying furniture, fittings and materials of the highest quality
- managing projects independently
- liaise with clients and manage on site installation
- liaise with suppliers and negotiate terms and costings
- taking full responsibility of all aspects of the entirety of the project

Salary: £30-45k per year depending on experience
