Retail designer

Nebihe Cihan Studio is seeking a retail designer to join its team in London.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail design and architecture.
Key responsibilities:
- develop new luxury retail concepts, including space planning and concept design
- prepare mood and material boards, develop colour and finish palettes
- source finishes, furniture, and fixtures for new retail concepts
- develop detailed design drawings for tender in AutoCAD and liaise with consultants and internal teams
- review RCPs and collaborate closely with the lighting designer
- manage the development of 3D renderings, working with visualisers
- review and approve millwork shop drawings and prototypes
- design bespoke furniture and manage production with suppliers
- prepare client presentations in Adobe InDesign
- adjust designs to meet budget and client expectations (value engineering)
- source vintage furniture and unique pieces
- manage sample approvals and maintain quality control throughout production
- conduct weekly site visits and run reports
Requirements:
- degree in interior design or interior architecture
- minimum five years’ experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio of luxury retail projects
- excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
- proficient in AutoCAD (2D drawings for retail projects)
- skilled in SketchUp or other 3D rendering software
- proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), Word, and Excel
- experience in furniture design and retail fixtures
- strong eye for detail and understanding of the luxury retail market
- London-based and available to work from the NCS London studio throughout the contract
- flexible, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
