Levitt Bernstein is looking for a project urban designer to join its London team.
Levitt Bernstein is an award-winning design-led architectural practice based in London and Manchester, with over 25 years’ experience of urban design and masterplanning. Our projects range from buildings carefully woven into the urban fabric to large regeneration schemes, including many housing estates.
Our urban design studio, based in London, is looking for a project urban designer with up to five years’ post-qualification experience. You must be a good all-rounder, with a proven track record of managing team members and leading projects from inception to planning.
The studio works on independent urban design commissions; creating framework documents and masterplans, as well as contributing to other architectural and landscape projects within the practice.
Requirements:
- MA in urban design or equivalent
- minimum of five year’s post-qualification experience working on a range of projects
- excellent design ability and technical knowledge
- commercial awareness
- experience of liaising with clients and consultants and developing those professional relationships
- ability to manage projects independently on a day-to-day basis, and more widely within a team
- good freehand drawing, with excellent presentation and graphic skills
- advanced knowledge of Adobe Suite, AutoCAD and SketchUp
- working knowledge of Revit an advantage
