Neptune is looking for a junior retail interior designer to join its growing team in Swindon, UK.

Here you’ll find creative and technical forces really come together to turn an inspiring design vision into a breath taking reality in the form of our retail stores. Our buildings range from Cotswold stone townhouses, complete Neptune new builds and even a 17th century gate lodge, each with their own individual features and quirks.
Our stores really do have that ‘wow’ factor and it’s largely due to the amazing talent of our interior designers. The team are very excited to invite on board such a key new member. As the junior retail interior designer, you’ll become one of the most essential ingredients for our instore designs, partner stores and ‘store-in-store’ locations too.
A day in the life of a junior retail interior designer at Neptune will include:
- working closely with the senior interior designer to update our stores within seasonal design guidelines
- creating detailed plans for new seasonal updates
- liaising with our merchandising team to analyse store performance in order to optimise layout and space planning
- supporting the team with developments of seasonal design strategies for roll out to stores
- coordinating consistent updates and design intent with our visual merchandising team
To succeed in this exciting role, you’ll need to be a highly organised and creative thinker with tons of enthusiasm and drive. You’ll have strong technical detailing skills and be trained or experienced in interior design or interior architecture. Experience of AutoCAD or similar is a must and you’ll need a good understanding of SketchUp, or similar 3D software. Most of all you’ll be an outstanding communicator with a natural affiliation to the Neptune brand.
