Applications for the architectural technologist role are welcome to join the team of tp bennett in London.
We are seeking an architectural technologist with demonstrable experience in Stage 3 and Stage 4 delivery primarily to work within the workplace and commercial interior fit out design. You will be working across a diverse range of projects with clients within the tech, media and retail industry as well as law and finance sectors. Varying sector backgrounds will be considered pending portfolio and measurable experience.
Reporting directly to the project director, you will help coordinate and deliver concept designs through to completion on site. You will get the chance to work across a broad range of packages including joinery, partitions and architectural metalwork and work alongside industry leading interior designers and architects. Projects are based in London, the wider UK and include opportunities to work on projects abroad. Site experience is advantageous. Flexible working is offered following a short probation period and to be agreed with your line manager.

Qualifications, skills and experience:
- qualified architectural technologist or technician
- solid post qualification industry experience (graduates with strong portfolios considered)
- experience of working on large scale commercial projects desirable
- demonstratable experience of all stages of a project with particular focus on RIBA Stage 3 to 5
- experience of managing a complex Revit model and coordinating with other consultants
- fully proficient in Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- good working knowledge of other software, eg. Word, Excel, Enscape
- experience of NBS Software, InDesign, Photoshop, SketchUp desirable
Knowledge and attributes:
- enjoys preparing, developing and coordinating drawings and models to support a successful project transition from the design phase to on-site liaising with contractor teams
- a keen eye for detail and accuracy
- proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative in response to direction from project leads, directors and principals
- a team player, with a flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working and collaborating
- ability to communicate effectively with great inter-personal skills both spoken and written
