Black and Milk is looking for a senior interior designer – FF&E to join its team in London.
About us
Black and Milk is a young and growing interior design studio based in Hampstead. We specialise in modern interiors for modern homes and offer turn key service to private clients.
We pride ourselves on creative and functional designs, customer service and great attention to details. We are a friendly and dynamic bunch of people and the studio is led by a husband and wife team, Anatoly and Olga who respectively look after business management and design.
Our style direction is comfy minimalism and we call it understated luxury.
Due to recent growth, we are recruiting for an experienced senior interior designer to join our team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, talented and creative individual who wants to see their designs come into life.
Responsibilities:
- manage interior design projects from concept to completion
- create detailed CAD documentation (floor plans, electrical layouts, elevations, etc.), FF&E specifications, joinery drawings
- lease with suppliers and manage specification and procurement activities
- on-site project management and project coordination
About you
Skills and competencies:
- minimum five years experience in residential interior design in the UK
- good client communication and presentation skills
- good knowledge of FF&E landscape in modern and contemporary furniture segments
- excellent moodboarding and supplier research skills
- good numerical skills and attention to details
Technical skills:
- AutoCAD
- Illustrator, In-Design, Corel Draw or equivalent
- Excel
- Photoshop
- Windows/ MAC environment
