Arquitectonica is a design-focused, award winning architecture, interior design and planning firm that began in Miami in 1977 as an experimental studio. Led by Bernardo Fort-Brescia and Laurinda Spear, the studio has evolved into a worldwide practice, combining the creative spirit of the principals with the efficiency of delivery and reliability of a major architectural firm.
We are seeking a project manager with a minimum 10 years of experience to join the New York office. They will function as a member of the leadership team and be responsible for monitoring all aspects of their assigned projects. The project manager is expected to deliver the highest quality work while ensuring the client’s and company’s expectations are met for function, aesthetics, schedule and budget. As we are a design-focused firm, the right candidate must be committed to design excellence and illustrate a proven ability to translate the design process successfully into the built environment.
Responsibilities:
- communicate professionally, thoroughly and articulately with clients, consultants and staff
- work directly with the office director and principals to prepare design presentations for clients
- establish design criteria and track project compliance with zoning and building codes
- contract administration
- manage production of documentation for all phases (concept through CA)
- manage project team and team members’ workload
- mentor interns and junior staff, ensuring their professional development

Requirements:
- licensed architect with 10yrs minimum post-grad experience
- experience as lead project manager on several completed projects from conception through completion
- experience with high-rise residential and mixed-use projects from conception through completion
- experience working in New York city
- software: Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office
- ability to travel domestically or internationally
Compensation
Compensation will be based on candidate’s experience and abilities.
