Lewis & Co is looking for an interior design/retail assistant to join its practice in London.

Lewis & Co. is one of London’s top interior design studios and high-end home accessories shop. Based in Marylebone, we are looking for someone to join our dynamic team as a part-time interior design and retail assistant, with the prospect of growing into a more senior role within the firm in a relatively short period of time.

As our interior design manager you will assist the firm’s lead designer, Luis Hernandez, with the management of his design projects.

This will include:

• creative consultations, collaborating closely with Luis and clients on project vision and implementation
• drafting
• creating client mood boards
• procuring furnishings from vendors
• overseeing projects on-site, initially in London with the possibility for travel later
• invoicing and collections
• sales and marketing to secure new interior design clients

As our retail assistant, you may on occasion be asked to assist in managing the retail showroom.

This will include:

• selling in the showroom when Lewis is on-site with clients
• working with retail clients to find and source special order items, working closely with our existing vendors and building relationships with new vendors across Europe
• management of online store: lewisandcompany.co.uk
• manage Lewis & Co social media activities: Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, email campaigns, etc.

So, we are looking for someone with:

• minimum of two to three years relevant experience in interior design, preferably exposed to top tier luxury residential projects
• solid experience in handling clients and projects from design stage to completion
• ability to handle design drawings and specifications; familiar with AutoCAD, Vectors, Photoshop,
• Keynote or other common design software; Experience operating in MAC platform
• ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure
• excellent interpersonal skills
• a customer service sensibility
• a strong understanding of digital and social media marketing to drive engagement, raise awareness
• passion and energy
• university degree

We are looking for someone to join as soon as possible.

Hourly rate between £12-£15/hour, dependent on experience.
