Link Britannia Design and Development is seeking an interior designer to join its team in London.

Link Britannia is a London-based studio specialising in super-prime design and build in London. We create some of the finest turnkey homes in the country. Our designs are bespoke and individually crafted for each of our clients.

About you

We are seeking an experienced middleweight interior designer with a minimum of four years’ experience within the luxury residential sector to join our talented team. This is a very exciting time to join our studio as we expand the company.

You must have a very good understanding of super prime luxury interior design and a strong understanding of creating feasible designs with a meticulous eye for detail along with excellent technical skills, knowledge of finishes, FF&E suppliers and luxury craftsmanship.

The role

The role requires an all-round designer with a strong technical background and a well-developed design sensibility.

As a middleweight interior designer, you will play a key role across a portfolio of super-luxury private residential projects, from concept through to completion. assist the senior team in creating concept design presentations, producing detailed technical drawing packages, coordinating FF&E selection, and delivering precise, well-resolved design intent information.

You will work collaboratively with internal and external design teams, consultants, contractors and suppliers, while also demonstrating the ability to work independently, manage your own workload, and take ownership of technical packages through detailed design and delivery stages.

You will be:

  • creating beautiful designed interiors for super prime residence
  • narrative development and captivating storytelling through your designs
  • assisting the senior team in the running of large luxury residential projects
  • creating mood and concept presentations, drawings, joinery details, FF&E schedules and finishes palettes/trays
  • source bespoke joinery and FF&E
  • managing schedules, procurement and budgets
  • coordinate all aspects of the FF&E installation

We are looking for someone who has:

  • a recognised interior design qualification
  • minimum four years’ post-graduate experience in the luxury high-end residential sector
  • strong portfolio demonstrating a range of skills and projects of luxury residential work that demonstrates
  • proficient in AutoCAD, Sketchup, Photoshop, InDesign, Microsoft Office, and EstiPC
  • creative flair and conceptual & technical ability
  • passionate about design and creativity and can bring new and exciting design ideas to the table
  • excellent communication and written skills
  • highly organised, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple tasks
  • be able to review technical drawings supplied by others
  • liaising with clients, suppliers, contractors and trades
  • strong FF&E & base spec knowledge including sourcing, specifying, materials/finishes and suppliers
