Middleweight interior designer - FF&E
Black and Milk is looking for a middleweight interior designer – FF&E to join its London practice.
About us:
Black and Milk is a young and growing high-end residential interior design studio based in Hampstead. We specialise in modern interiors for modern homes. We pride ourselves on unique designs, customer service and seamless support of projects from concept to completion.
Due to recent growth, we are recruiting for an experienced interior designer to join our practice with immediate start. This is a contract position for minimum of two month with a possibility to move into permanent role.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and talented individual who wants to specialise in residential FF&E.
Responsibilities:
- work alongside the head of design to manage interior design projects from concept to completion
- create detailed CAD documentation – floor plans, electrical layouts, elevations, etc., FF&E specifications, joinery drawings
- lease with suppliers and manage specification and sourcing activities
- on-site project management and coordination
About you:
Skills and competencies:
- min three years’ experience in high-end residential interiors in the UK
- excellent design skills
- good knowledge of FF&E landscape in modern and contemporary furniture segments
- good numerical skills and attention to details
Technical skills:
- AutoCAD
- Illustrator, In-Design, Corel Draw or equivalent
- Excel
- Photoshop
- Windows environment
