Job purpose statement
To undertake administration and other office, maintenance and handling duties to support the sales team.
Main responsibilities:
- processing invoices
- processing and chasing payment
- monitoring customer accounts
- answering phone calls
- scheduling deliveries
- maintenance of the trade showroom samples
- answering inquiries within 24 hours
- finding new sales leads
- process quotes/order under £10K
Qualifications and experience:
- good customer service skills
- great communication skills
- good administrative skills
- excellent English written/spoken
Personal attributes:
- highly-organised
- proactive
- attention to detail
- progression to sales consultant/account manager
Skills and requirements:
- recently worked within a wholesaler business with the responsibility of managing trade accounts, process orders with an EPR system (Sage ideally), producing invoices, managing stocks, customer service and inquiries, arranging deliveries
- experience in working within furniture wholesale furniture supplier will be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given
- knowledge of using Sage 200 or Sage 50 accounts to manage sales, stock and CRM
- experience working with logistic company and warehouse to arrange deliveries
- computer literate including Microsoft Office especially Excel is essential
- a high-level of accuracy and attention to detail is required
- enthusiastic, ambitious, hardworking, self-motivated
- excellent communications and organisation skills and be responsible for fulfilling tasks on time
Compensation package:
- £23K basic, plus bonus
