Faye Toogood has an opportunity for a sales manager to join its team in London. 

Faye Toogood is looking for a highly ambitious individual with a passion for sales to join its rapidly growing team in east London.

This is a rare opportunity to become a vital member of multidisciplinary company working across fashion and design in a pressurised but rewarding environment.

The sales manager will define and drive the global brand sales strategy and sales plan and manage the sale of all furniture and fashion collections across all channels (wholesale, trade and retail) with an initial focus on trade and retail.

The successful candidate will work closely with the PR, marketing and communications manager and report to the director to implement an ambitious sales strategy.

Responsibilities will include:

  • growing the brand across all territories to push existing and new accounts and clients
  • devising and implementing a sales development strategy that will work globally
  • responding to all inbound sales enquiries. Handling all order processing, customer queries and follow up across both fashion and furniture
  • sales targets. Ensuring monthly sales targets are set and achieved
  • acting as a brand representative and attending industry events
  • general administration

The ideal candidate:

  • good track record of working in sales-related positions with reputable luxury brands
  • excellent sales, interpersonal and influencing skills
  • excellent communicator in person, on the phone and by email
  • excellent written communication skills
  • experience working within an International marketplace
  • strong existing relationships within either the fashion or art and design world. Ideally both
  • accurate and numerate with an excellent attention to detail
  • confident, outgoing and proactive
  • strong organisational skills and time management
  • a team player and enjoy working in a small team
  • able to work under pressure in an intensely busy environment
  • passionate about design, fashion and art
  • good command of Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign
  • eligible to work in the UK
