Junior/middleweight interior and furniture designer

Francis Sultana is looking for a junior/middleweight interior and furniture designer to join its London team.
We are recruiting a highly ambitious and motivated junior/middleweight furniture/interior designer to join the Francis Sultana studio. The candidate needs to be proactive and a responsive problem solver, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to see tasks through to completion. The candidate needs to show clear, positive thinking skills with a willingness to learn and develop his or her expertise.
Attributes:
- have a portfolio displaying knowledge of Rhino 3D modelling, or similar, and Adobe Creative Suite
- provide essential design and/or technical support for the interior design team and work closely with senior staff to shadow and develop design and deliverables for various projects
- good organisational and project management skills
- background or education in design
- at least three years experience in a comparable role
- excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain efficiency in a fast-paced environment
- excellent communications skills both in written and spoken English
- able to multi-task and detail oriented
- excellent administrative skills
- currently residing in London
- used to supplier/manufacturer dialogue
The successful candidate will assist the Francis Sultana team with the production and development of furniture, including the design, developing designs from sketches, to production and quality control. The candidate will also assist with the daily running of the Department updating information listed on the database, organising drawings and information.
Salary: Dependent on experience
