Sales executive

CTO Lighting is looking for a sales executive to join its growing London team.

CTO Lighting is a family owned business that has built an enviable reputation over the past 20 years working with some of the leading interior designers such as David Collins Studio and Martin Brudnizki on exclusive projects from Chiltern Street Firehouse to St Pancras Hotel.

We design and manufacture a range of lights distributed through our global sales network alongside bespoke fixtures for prestigious design practices and projects. This is a great opportunity to work with some of the industries finest in a progressive design-led company.

CTO Lighting has a vacancy for a sales executive working within our new showroom and office in Islington. As a sales executive within CTO Lighting you will be an integral part of the sales team working in tandem with our other departments to ensure our strong growth targets are achieved. This role will report directly to the managing director and sales manager.

Role

The role offers an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to join our friendly and experienced team, working with them in a fast-paced commercial environment to support our national and international sales network.

You will:

– be will be responsible for your own accounts, ensuring an exceptional level of service is provided
– build and develop new and existing relationships
– seek new opportunities to develop untapped sales streams
– do frequent visits and presentations to new and existing contacts
– convert warm enquires into sales, deliverance of goods and customer care
– utilise our showroom for client presentations and events
– be part of the sales team to reach monthly and yearly sales target
– liaise with the design and operations teams on bespoke projects to ensure a smooth client journey
– attend national and international trade shows; Decorex, Maison & Objet, Euroluce
– travel nationally and internationally from time to time

Candidate

You will be an enthusiastic, organised person with an interest in design and will relish the chance to see how a successful design led company operates. You must have a minimum of three years relative industry experience in a similar position within a fast paced commercial environment.

You will have:

– ambition and drive
– great interpersonal skills and be able to build relationships naturally
– strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills
– a team orientated, flexible and friendly approach under pressure
– good project management and time management skills
– excellent administrative skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office and a CRM database are essential
– Sage 50 knowledge/similar accounts package, is advantageous
– a great design eye and design empathy
– fluency in French although this is an advantage but not essential

CTO Lighting offer a competitive remuneration package dependent on your skills and experience and an uncapped sales bonus in a great working environment. For the right candidate this role could into grow into a European Sales Manager.
