Heyne Tillett Steel has an exciting opportunity for a Team Assistant to join our central London office. Working with our technical team and reporting to one of the directors you will be involved in all aspects of support within the team as well as acting as an overflow support team workload.

The role includes:
- creating/editing technical reports and presentations within InDesign for current HTS projects
- undertaking project research at archives and researching bomb maps, aerial photos, historical maps, borehole records, asset locations search etc and keeping records of research undertaken
- site research – initial desktop site research for potential, new and existing jobs using various sources and the purchasing of asset information for the sites
- editing photographs of site and archive material within Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop for use within reports within Microsoft Word and Adobe InDesign
- producing fee proposals in InDesign
- document control for various projects – uploading/downloading documents and preparing issue sheets
- course booking – organising the booking of courses for direct team and wider engineering team when required for team members CPD and their individual career development
- checking and ensuring if archive material and images are subject to copyright and purchasing any appropriate license for use if required
- managing team log ins for document sharing websites
- planning team meetings
- work in collaboration with marketing, directors, associates, and engineering team members on EOI’s, RfP’s, PQQ’s and tenders as and when required
- group management – co-ordinating diaries, helping with CMAP (chasing timesheets, expenses), arranging group meetings, producing resourcing and invoicing reports, sending Tuesday and Friday meeting reminders
- occasional personal assistant duties to director
- ad hoc admin tasks
Requirements for the role include:
- experience of using Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign and Photoshop) and all Microsoft Office packages
- self-motivated and able to prioritise activities to meet deadlines
- pro-active and hands-on approach
- calm under pressure and able to manage competing demands
- high level of attention to detail.
