Product designer
at NEUE
NEUE is searching for a mid-weight product designer to join its studio in London.
The candidate needs to have proven experience as a product designer for at least five years.
This position requires the candidate to be fully fluent in English.
The candidate should:
- have a minimum of five years plus’ experience in the role of an product designer, with extensive creative competence
- to work independently from the concept through to production
- have extensive knowledge of furniture and lighting
- hold a bachelor’s and preferably also a masters degree in product design
- experience in the following essential programs: AutoCAD, Vectorworks, Rhino, Solidworks, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, MS Office
- have excellent design, presentation and graphics skills
- be passionate about keeping up-to-date with new developments and design trends in the design industry
- have the ability to visualise concepts and confidently present
- have the right to work in the UK
- communicate in English fluently
The candidate will be responsible for working closely with other members of staff on the following:
- processing and developing initial ideas
- researching and developing innovative solutions
- producing detailed drawings (including 3D renderings and technical design documentation/drawings)
- liaising with outside suppliers, contractors and specialists
- presenting ideas both internally and externally
