Tollgard Design Group is looking for a procurement coordinator to support its contracts team in London, UK.
Tollgard is a renowned multidiscipline design company based in West London. Tollgard Contracts is the commercial supply division and provides design-led solutions for architects, interior designers and businesses. Our strength lies in our experience, our dedicated personal approach and the exceptional collection of luxury, modern and contemporary furniture brands.
We are looking for a passionate individual to support both our day-to-day sales and commercial FF&E project teams. The ideal candidate will share our love of beautiful things and has the knowledge and experience to ensure a seamless process from order processing to procurement, logistics and eventual client delivery. You will be an integral part of our team and work closely with all team members daily.
This is a full-time position based out of the Grosvenor Waterside Studio, although some flex will be allowed for home working.
Your role will include:
- managing the procurement process for our teams, from the moment the client pays to final delivery
- creating purchase orders for suppliers
- tracking orders, timelines and lead times
- notifying the wider team of delays and/or any impact on project/order deadlines
- coordinating with our accounts team to ensure that supplier payments are made swiftly and appropriately
- monitoring project cash flow and tracking order payments
- managing logistics pathways for the products once the supplier has dispatched goods and liaising with the warehouse daily to track incoming shipments
- overseeing international customs clearance to ensure that goods are cleared as swiftly as possible with our third-party logistics partners and clearance agents
- organising final delivery of goods to the client and supporting project teams on FF&E installation on site
Candidate profile essential
You will be right for us if you have worked in the design industry for at least two years, ideally within a furniture supplier, dealer, logistics company or commercially focused interior design studio. You will be proactive, be adept with international shipping procedures and know your EORI number from your VAT. You will be an agile, adaptable and enthusiastic team player, ready to jump in and ensure deadlines are met and fires are fought.
The ideal candidate will be:
- proactive
- strong attention to detail
- self-motivated, innovative and able to work on their own initiative
- have a good understanding of furniture and lighting manufacturing processes
- a team player and confident in working in a small team
The following would also be a benefit:
- experience with Monday.com and Xero
- international project experience
- a design degree
