Senior interior designer

Tala Fustok is looking for a senior interior designer/architect to join our interior design studio in west London.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced studio with growth forecast over the next few years. Our approach to projects is holistic and we are looking for all-rounders who want the opportunity to run projects efficiently, it is very important the candidate is excellent on execution for the high-end residential market.
The ideal candidates will have a minimum of 10 years’ experience running projects from concept to construction.
Experience and skills:
- able to produce concept visuals to a high standard (SketchUp, Photoshop, V-Ray, render programs etc.)
- excellent CAD skills – Vectorworks ideally
- excellent attention to detail and ability to draw to a very high standard for both drawing intent and construction packages (in the high-end residential and commercial market)
- have strong FF&E knowledge (both vintage and contemporary) and being able to produce excellent FF&E specifications and schedules
- site experience to ensure projects are in keeping with the design intent, ensuring quality and compliance with statutory requirements
- liaising and conducting meetings with all the actors of our industry (from suppliers to contractors to clients) to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget and to the highest standard throughout the project from beginning to completion
Responsibilities:
- ability to take creative direction and translate it from concept to production
- comprehensive experience leading small teams
- be responsible and directly involved in all aspects of a project from the conception, drawing package, procurement and installation
- be responsible for the quality of the project compared to its budget and client’s expectations
- passionate about design, curious to learn new techniques, methods and processes
- ability to multitask and work on multiple projects at the same time
- British passport or residency required
