There is a vacancy for an assistant manager for retail at twentytwentyone to join its locations in London.
Over 25 years, twentytwentyone has established itself as one of London’s foremost retailers of classic and contemporary design, supplying furniture, lighting and accessories from world leading designers and manufacturers.
The successful candidate will possess excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to manage all aspects of a busy retail environment. The Assistant Manager will have a strong track record managing or supervising a sales team, ideally within the furniture and design sectors.
A high level of administrative and organisational skills is vital, in addition to being confident training and coaching team members. We are looking for a multi-tasker, who is happy to roll up their sleeves, has a very high attention to detail and the ability to self-manage whilst motivating a sales team.
The position is full-time 5 days/37.5 per week (9.30am to 6.15pm), based at our shop in Upper Street with flexibility to work at various locations should business needs arise.
Main responsibilities:
- provide full support to the retail manager in all aspects of store operations
- ensure the highest possible service levels are maintained
- support the retail manager to ensure retail locations exceed targets
- maintain inspirational product displays and overall presentation of premises
- assist the retail manager with recruitment, training, and rota management
- continually develop sales procedures aimed at providing a seamless customer journey
- take pride in ensuring customer experience continues to reflect company values
- effectively communicate key retail messages company-wide
- oversee retail stock movements across multiple locations
- escalation point for customer service requests
